Battle of Temptation
I do what I don't want to do
and I say what I don't want to say
my only intentions are to follow You
But I've been deceived by the lying prey
THE SPIRIT IS WILLING BUT THE FLESH IS WEAK
JESUS CHRIST IT'S YOU THAT I SEEK
MY SINFUL NATURE HAS HINDERED ME
BUT THE SPIRIT OF LIFE HAS SET ME FREE
The Lamb of God died for mankind
resisting sin our flesh could not
our weak flesh causes us to be blind
but our eyes are opened by the Word of God
Live in accordance with what God desires
for the mind of sinful man is death
the Perfect Sacrifice saves man from the fire
so praise be to God for we've been blessed
